How does Carbon Laser facial work?

Your skin is cleansed, and activated carbon is applied in a thin layer. Your eyes will be covered to protect them from the laser.
The laser is passed over the whole treatment area, and the heat from the laser disperses the carbon into the skin. This kills bacteria and stimulates collagen at the same time.
After the treatment, we apply an appropriate moisturiser and SPF to your skin.

What are the benefits of Carbon Facial?

The Carbon facial provides a thorough, deep cleanas the carbon absorbs oil and contaminants from deep within the pores.
The heat from the laser during the Carbon Facial will stimulate the fibroblast cells that sit in the deeper layers of the skin and build collagen and elastin. Over the few months after your treatment the collagen and elastin will become noticeable, resulting in a firmer, more youthful looking skin.

The heat from the Carbon Facial laser also helps destroy the P.acne bacteria that is found in an acne prone skin, and therefore helps control pimples and congestion. It also helps shrink the sebaceous glands, resulting in less oil and smaller pores.

How does the Carbon Facial feel?

The carbon facial is very comfortable, as the heat is very gentle during the treatment. The laser does have a loud popping sound as it evaporates the carbon, but your technician will warn you when the treatment is starting, and after the first few shots you get used to the noise.

How often do I need this treatment?
