Plasma Pen Treatments in Nottingham

This device is used to achieve non-surgical eyelid, face and neck lifts, but also can be used to remove excess tissue for treatments such as warts, skin tags, and correcting pigmentation spots.

What makes Plasma pen unique?

Our Accor cosmetic corrector is the first plasma pen with low frequency+ technology. The accor NF+ Cosmetic corrector creates a miniscule electrical arc at its tip. This arc is called the plasma-arc and vaporises the tissue it encounters which results in excess skin being tightened. This is a non-invasive and substantially more gentle way to remove eye bags than an operation, with much lower risk of infection or complications than a blepharoplasty.

How long does the Plasma pen procedure last?

The Plasma pen eye lid lift procedure should take an hour to complete.

Is the Plasma pen treatment painful?

Before the Plasma pen treatment, a mild numbing cream will be used in order to provide comfort and ease any pain that you may experience.

What is the downtime for the Plasma pen treatment?

Depending on the area, there may be some localised swelling for several days after treatment, which is normal and will subside.
After treatment the skin is left with small scabs where we have vaporised the skin. This will take between 5-14 days to heal, depending on age, skin health, and aftercare. We recommend coming in for a consultation to discuss what the downtime may be for you.

How many Plasma pen treatments will I need?

Most clients only need 1 session, but it does depend on the area being treated. If the eyelids have a larger amount of excess skin, then up to 3 sessions may be required. These would be done approximately 3 months apart.
